Renovated in 2023, Hale Koa at Pilihonua was originally a WWII galley, which is reflected in the open interior and large central table. The cozy yet elevating redesign provides an ideal atmosphere for retreats and meetings of up to 30 guests and craft workshops of up to 15 guests. It features flexible tables and banquette seating for large group and breakout sessions, an open kitchen, and a spacious wraparound lanai overlooking Lēʻahi. 

Hale Koa is home to day uses. A wide range of overnight accommodations are available at hotels near the coast and at Camp Pālehua.
